Israel’s latest deadly incursion into the Gaza Strip, described by the Palestinian president as a massacre, is being blamed on the tour of the Middle East by George Bush.
At least 17 Palestinians have been killed and at least 50 others injured since the military operation started on Monday night while the US president was in Saudi Arabia.

Does 17 dead constitute a massacre? I’d say yes in this case, with the use of such verbiage dependent upon the instruments of lethality, lack of warning and/or opportunity for self-defense or flight to refuge.
