In contrast, Austria’s Malthausen, specifically designed to be a “labor camp”, unlike Auschwitz — which was specifically optimized for extermination — Malthausen is conservatively estimated to have incarcerated only 200,000 people — of which 119,000 died . . .

38,120 of that 119,000 were Jewish (32%).

In June of 1941, 348 Dutch Jews arrived in Malthausen, 3 weeks later? They were ALL dead.

Do we remember when Poland demanded the $20 Billion for the Missile “Shield” location?

On August 15, 2008, the deal followed 18 months of negotiations

So about 6 months after Poland demanded $20 Billion for the “Missile Shield” they were talking about demanding $20 Billion for “art treasures” allegedly destroyed by the Nazis.

Hmmmm . . . . amazing coincidence?

one million, three million… i do not know… i do know there were over 5,000 camps… so they had room to do in the over twenty million unarmed prisoner deaths they arranged… and as always, communists (possibly another twelve+ million) were never counted, and rarely worked.

Dis, is that you? Is there a lie in there somewhere? Some kind of distortion? Have I unreasonably distorted something?

You don’t think we have some cause for concern?

Did you hear that Gorbachev, already a Nobel Peace Prize winner, will be presented the Liberty Medal by former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, the chairman of the National Constitution Center, at the official ceremony on September 18.

I think the warmonger deciders are doing it as an inside joke.

The Poles are the stupidest people on Earth. Who else would make themselves a target of Russian nukes for the sake of a missile shield which isn’t even intended for their protection? Not to mention that the thing doesn’t even work? That’s got to be the dumbest thing the pollacks have done since they decided to locate on a flat, easily invaded plain between Germany and Russia. Not to mention that they’ll have to contend with issues like making sure their engineers install the anti-missile missiles pointy-side-up and effectively preventing Russian spies from infiltrating their circular silos and posting signs reading ‘before launch, stand in corner.’

I’ve heard that some of the officially considered gas chambers couldn’t have been used as gas chambers because they had no ventilation systems to purge the poisons, meaning that when the Nazis opened the doors, they would have died too. I can’t verify this fact, because apparently you get thrown in a camp if you ask such questions in Europe. This is exactly the problem with laws against ‘holocaust denial,’ it prevents honest historical inquiry and debate, because historians are afraid they’ll be jailed for arguing that anything should ever be revised downward.

Personally, I think holocaust exaggeration should be considered as bad a moral crime as holocaust denial, because it lends and air of falseness to the records of the numerous crimes which really were committed. Isn’t it interesting that exaggerating the holocaust jives nicely with Israel’s goal of convincing as many Jews as possible that Israel is the only place they’ll ever be safe?

There are many parties who would like us to believe that Nazi Germany was all about bizarre, crazed ideologies. I for one was indoctrinated to believe that the Nazis were all about killing people they didn’t like, which is a bit like saying that KFC is all about exterminating chickens. Uh, no, they’re all about selling dead chickens and making money for their shareholders. If you want to get a sense of a concentration camp, don’t go to a museum, visit your local factory farm and imagine people there instead of animals. Fascism is just how corporations act when they know they’ll get away with it. Who were people working for in the camps? For corporations! Who did Nazi Germany get its seed money from and pay interest to? Banking corporations! Fascism = Corporatism! The museums never put any emphasis on that. A bunch of holocaust deniers if you ask me!

Poland is an interesting psychological phenomenon. “Stupidest people on earth” is stretching things a bit. Who’s paying for all this warmongering? Any idea?

Who’s been off-shoring all their jobs so people without any can’t pay their mortgages? Who then proceeded to try and salvage all their pyramid scheme “profits” by moving their “investments” into commodities, thereby imploding the global economy and skyrocketing food & oil prices ?

Any idea?

Polish leftists call for referendum on U.S. missile base

“The SLD will insist on parliamentary debates and demand that the government and the president inform us about their talks with the U.S. and how the U.S. missile would help Poland and the Poles,” said Tomasz Kalita, the SLD spokesman.

“If our proposal does not gain enough support in parliament, we are ready to start gathering citizens’ signatures all over the country to conduct a national referendum [on U.S. base issue],” Kalita said.

According to recent public opinion polls, over 66% of residents near the Redzikovo military base in northern Poland, where 10 interceptor missiles will be placed by 2013, are against the deployment of the U.S. base in the region.

Well, I suppose you’re right, I shouldn’t cast stones, we Americans haven’t proven to be particularly savvy as of late. I suppose I am paying via taxes for a non-functional ‘missile shield’ that does nothing but increase my chances of being incinerated. I still think Obi-Wan has a point about the whole ‘fool who follows’ line.

Reuters Pictures – 1 week ago: Protesters burn an effigy of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in front of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery in Warsaw August 29, 2008. About 18,000 workers joined a protest march on Friday organized by Poland’s main trade union Solidarity to demand higher wages and pensions.
