“capitalism as the only economic system that lets people alone to live happy, prosperous lives.”

I wouldn’t define my life as a wageslave as either ‘happy’ or ‘prosperous’, but sure.

Capitalism is at the root of almost all the terrible evil infecting this world. Sadly, we have yet to envision a suitable alternative…well, except for the “Star Trek” model, which states that with technological advancements making all production for all people possible, humans changed their focus away from profit to improving their overall condition and saving the planet. Wow. Really sounds like fiction, eh?

Fanatical islam, totalitarian communism, and capitalism are all the same thing, fascist civilization. Civilization is the root of all evil. Even the Bible says.

Tribalism fits in as the alternative.

Now you’re going to say “oh, like in afganistan”. And I’ll say, “no, idiot.” So lets just skip that part.

The key idea that appeals to me here is the libertarian critique of mass killing, or war, as a political means to an end. Real freedom, which libertarians hope to inculcate, is incompatible with the totalitarian practices necessary in a state with an entrenched, technologically advanced standing federal military.

Where I think radical anarchists, leftists, and libertarians can agree is that the root of all evil in our current system is the cozy relationship between government, military, and huge corporations which depend upon taxpayer support. That is, libertarians and anarchists should agree that life would be better off without the military industrial complex or the prison industrial complex or the government agricultural complex or the oil-power-government complex or any of the complexes.

Increasingly, our Republican led US government exists to shift taxpayer dollars into the pockets of corporate profiteers, and government power is used to protect corporate interests internationally, i.e. in Republican mouths “free trade” is a code word for US and european corporate monopolies dominating world markets. The libertarians oppose this and they think that welfare stinks. Well, we can work together against the corruption of our federal state by corporate welfare and military adventurism, can’t we?
